Operation Withern

Scotland Yard has launched Operation Withern to catch those thugs involved in the outbreaks of criminality in London in recent days and has released the "first of many" CCTV images of suspects it wants to collar ... er ... interview for rioting or looting in Croydon and Norwood Road. Note the suspects aren't all male and they're not all black. Girlie thieves couldn't resist looting handbags in smashed shops. These are just four of the wanted. Click the title link to see if you recognize any of the 15 on display. You'll find a police contact number. So far, over 600 thugs have been arrested and London's jails are full. With 16,000 officers drafted in to help defend London today, riots have broken out in Manchester, West Midlands and Wolverhampton. In Nottingham a police station has been firebombed. I can't help wondering whether PM David Cameron still feels like hugging a hoodie! Let me know, David.

Indeed. We've seen it all before. I read one quote from a looter this morning who says he's going to keep on looting till he's stopped! The sooner the better.
