For breathtaking art, this evening's Natural World, Wye - Voices From the Valley, made by Halcyon Media for BBC, will take some beating. Beautiful photography of the River Wye, from misty dawns to slow-motion closeups of kingfishers bursting from the water, elegantly edited, with sparse but melodic music and no crass commentary, just natural-history wisdom from a cider maker, salmon fisherman, sheep farmer and beekeeper. Wonderful. If this doesn't win TV awards, there is no justice.
