UK Government Cowboys

Shaun the Sheep © AardmanSeriously, folks, identity theft is costing Brits £2 billion a year, and this is merely one aspect of e-crime. Fleecing love-lorn Aussie sheep farmers is another (next post down). A recent report from the Lords Science and Technology Committee states that the Internet is "the playground of criminals" and criticises Government's cowboy approach to the problem. One of its suggestions is something Coxsoft Art has campaigned for: a central system for reporting e-crime. We need a well publicized website and email address - something like "www.scam.gov.uk" - where we can send suspect e-mails and visit for information. To read more, click the title link.
