LU's Potty Centenary

Some overpaid idiot at London Underground needs sacking, perhaps even an entire board of overpaid idiots. Believe it or not, LU commissioned 100 "artists" to produce tripe like this to celebrate the centenary of its famous logo. As you might have guessed, the wastrels of Arts Council England are involved. "We hope that the work will help put art at the centre of London life and add an artistic treat to our daily commutes" (Moira Sinclair of ACE). What planet does she live on? The money would have been far better spent on air conditioning, noise reduction, crowd control and security. Surely there is ample Art on the Underground from advertisers. Why should struggling commuters be expected to subsidize LU and ACE frivolity? To add insult to injury, Bouncy Boris announced fare increases today (CLICK)! If you must see more of this pathetic tripe, visit Rochelle School in Shoreditch from 8 to 30 October. Groan!
