Brixton Windmill Mural

In 2011 the Brixton Windmill in London opened to the public after a five-year restoration costing £581,000 (CLICK). Yesterday the repainted Brixton Windmill Mural was unveiled nearby. The mural is so large that they needed a fire engine to hide it before the official unveiling. The original mural was created in 1983 and had deteriorated badly. Clapham Film Unit received a grant to repaint it with help from volunteers (CLICK).

I agree they made an excellent job of it. And it's free to view for anyone who goes there. Let's hope they do get more work.
