Lily James, Zombies

I find this news item difficult to believe. It reads like an April Fool's gag. Lily James, the wayward Lady Rose in Downton Abbey, is to star in Seth Grahame-Smith's Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Yes, zombies! The new take, based on the best-selling US parody of Jane Austen's famous novel, sees Lily James as Elizabeth Bennet fighting a wave of zombies rising from their graves in the village of Meryton, a sort of Buffy The Zombie Slayer. The book was published on 1 April 2009. I doubt I would have the patience to read the graphic novel (CLICK)
